How you will contribute

The Regional Sales Manager will lead high-level leadership with hands-on sales execution, ensuring the division meets and exceeds revenue targets while maintaining compliance and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with deep knowledge of hospice care, strong business acumen, and a passion for serving patients and families.

How you will make an impact

Leadership & Team Development

• Manage onboarding, training and performance of hospice sales representatives.

• Conduct regular field rides, one-on-one coaching sessions, and team meetings.

• Establish clear performance expectations and accountability for census and referral growth.

• Foster a culture of ethical sales practices aligned with hospice philosophy and compliance standards.

Sales Strategy & Growth

• Develop and execute regional sales plans to achieve and exceed census and revenue targets.

• Analyze market trends, referral patterns, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.

• Collaborate with clinical, operations, and leadership teams to support smooth admissions and care transitions.

• Monitor pipeline activity and ensure consistent prospecting and follow-up.

Operational Collaboration

• Partner with clinical and operational leaders to ensure seamless patient transitions and high-quality care delivery.

• Collaborate on service line expansion and territory optimization.

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure all sales activities comply with federal, state, and company regulations.

• Provide regular reporting on sales performance, market trends, and competitive intelligence.

The Experience and Skills You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare sales, with at least 2 years in hospice or post-acute care.
  • Proven track record of leading successful sales teams and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of hospice regulations, referral dynamics, and payer sources.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel within the division as needed.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, Homecare Homebase).
  • Strategic planning and territory management.
