Summer Associate- Portfolio Management (Hybrid- Andover, MA)

Enel North America is a proven renewables leader delivering clean, flexible and sustainable energy solutions. The Summer Associate will support the Energy and Commodity Management team by driving key initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day team operations, analysis, and project execution
  • Conduct research, data collection, and reporting to assist business decisions
  • Prepare presentations, dashboards, and documentation for internal stakeholders
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project reviews
  • Assist with process improvements and help identify opportunities for efficiency
  • Collaborate cross functionally with other teams and associate across the organization
  • Help maintain accurate records, files, and project tracking tools
  • Contribute to Enel’s culture of safety, sustainability, and innovation
  • Assist with digital certificate issuances and market registration filings
  • Asset management marginality and plant availability reporting

Skills

  • Currently pursuing a BS/BA or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, Economics, Finance, Communications, or possess relevant real‑world experience that demonstrates strong analytical, communication, or project‑support capabilities
  • Experience with advanced programming languages (e.g. Python & SQL) and preferably with AI technology
  • Experience with common Python libraries for data analysis and modeling (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Keras, TensorFlow, Matplotlib, Bokeh, Plotly etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, team-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, operations, technology, or related fields
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment
