Job Purpose The Supply Chain Operations Department is responsible for the oversight, standardization, and technical leadership of the internal material handling operations at the Honda automobile powertrain and final assembly sites across North America. Specifically, the Inventory Specialist role will support inventory analysis and decision making with our contracted logistics companies, other Supply Chain management Departments, and the manufacturing plant, such as Assembly, Bumper Paint, Paint, Weld. This analysis covers inventory within the entire facility and supporting warehouses / trailer yards. Additional functions support onsite physical inventory activity when needed along with New Model and buildout activities. Key Accountabilities
