About the position Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP MM / WM Consultant This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology. Preferred Qualifications: At least 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM, WM in ECC & S/4 HANA in Automation, Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture / Design / Detailing of Processes Should have experience in SAP MM,WM modules and at least one S/4 HANA Implementation Experience Experience in EWM will be an added advantage Experience in SAP Ariba including integration with SAP S/4 HANA will be an added advantage Must have good knowledge in following IM areas: Inventory Management, Stock transfers, Special stocks, Stock types, Physical Inventory, Account Determination and Valuation Key areas of expertise – Goods Receipt, Inspection, Deconsolidation, Physical Inventory, Replenishment, Wave Processing, Picking/Packing, Shipping, Inspection Must have good knowledge in following WM areas: WM Master Data, Inbound / Outbound delivery processing, Transfer Orders, Cycle Counts, Inventory reconciliation, Shipping and Transportation Management, Mobile Data Entry and RF units, Physical Inventory, RF Transactions, HU Management, Transportation Units, Production Integration Able to analyze business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of ABAP custom programs, testing and implementing the automated solution Strong hands-on experience in Logistics Execution, EDI/IDOC Integration and system integration areas Knowledge and hands-on experience of B2B Integration and system to system integration of SAP through EDI/IDOC and other interface methods is essential Develop and recommend changes in development standards, methodologies, and practices. Work with business users to identify business processes with opportunities for improved efficiency or competitiveness Hands on experience in warehousing operations is a plus Good Analytical and Communication skills Project and talent management Ability and willingness to work with global teams across time zones. SAP EWM / WM/ MM / Ariba certifications will be a big plus. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
