Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Associate to join our temporary team at arenaflex. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you'll play a vital role in delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. You'll be responsible for providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to our customers, while also modeling and sharing customer service best practices with your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
  • Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
  • Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
  • Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items.
  • Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested.
  • Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
  • Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records.
  • Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader.
  • Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
  • Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise.
  • Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures.
  • Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine.
  • Assume web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers.
  • Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
  • Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required * Previous customer service experience in a retail or healthcare environment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods * Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare environment * Knowledge of store systems and store equipment * Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
