Rare Disease Account Manager- Northeast Region

The DAS will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales objectives by effectively implementing marketing strategies and sales plans as assigned by our customer & leadership at IQVIA. He/she will be responsible for providing scientific oriented needs to healthcare professionals for the primary purpose of promoting and supporting the DMD product portfolio our customer. He/she will also be accountable for maintaining compliance with all policies that govern sales activity.Minimum RequirementsBA/BS Degree from an accredited four-year college or universityMinimum 5+ years pharmaceutical and/or biotech sales experience, including 2+ years Rare Disease and/or gene therapy experience requiredPreferred QualificationsStrong, consistent and documented track record of successDMD Experience Strongly PreferredAbility to navigate various complexities of Rare Disease treatmentsExperience managing patient enrollment process for rare disease products and working with office staff to help support and simplify processExperience working with a start-up or high growth organizationEntrepreneurial spirit, solution-oriented approach to the businessAbility to travel overnight and possess a valid driver’s license to drive to assigned healthcare accounts, unless otherwise specified50% TravelIQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
