Human Resources Coordinator

Epic Gardening is a company dedicated to teaching the world to grow food and reconnect with nature. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented People Operations Coordinator to support various areas of people operations, including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and employee relations, in their Broomfield, Colorado location.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a first point of contact for Broomfield, CO warehouse employees for day-to-day support
• Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files
• Complete employment verifications and home loan verifications
• Manage all recruitment scheduling for all roles across the company
• Onboards and processes new hire paperwork and terminations within the HRIS (Rippling)
• Leads onboarding process for new warehouse hires joining the company
• Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries
• Collaborate with benefits providers to resolve issues and communicate updates to employees
• Assist with time keeping and time off functions in conjunction with hourly people managers
• Assists with hiring process by creating job descriptions, sourcing, updating the ATS, scheduling calls, in person interviews, and creating offer letters
• Support in-office culture through mail distribution & event planning
• Administrative ad-hoc support for finance and legal teams

Skills

• 1–2 years of proven HR experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
• Enjoy planning and have a keen eye for detail
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Take a people-first approach in everything you do
• Genuinely excited by onboarding, training, performance management, and employee engagement
• Fluent in both English and Spanish
