Accounting Specialist
People Driven Credit Union is seeking a Full Time Accounting Specialist to manage essential accounting functions and support their member-centric mission. The role involves handling Accounts Payable, reconciling general ledger accounts, and tracking fraud and disputes related to debit and credit cards.
Responsibilities
- Managing essential accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Escheats, and Third-Party Vendors
- Assisting in reconciling assigned general ledger accounts and resolving outstanding items
- Collaborating closely with the Payments Team to track and reconcile any fraud and disputes related to debit and credit cards
Skills
- Strong foundation in accounting principles
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must be able to pass Background and Drug screening
- Familiarity with full-service financial institutions
