Key Responsibilities

In this critical role, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and monitoring the work activities of data entry personnel to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Sorting and filing various reports and documents, maintaining organized records and databases.
  • Operating computers and overseeing the operation of data entry input and output to ensure processing by schedule, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
  • Reviewing immunization records for screening purposes only, ensuring all screenings are performed in accordance with policies and procedures, and undergoing proper quality control and quality assurance measures.
  • Monitoring registration turnaround times to identify areas for improvement and optimize data entry processes.
  • Assisting with data entry and compilation, as needed, to support the team and ensure seamless operations.

Working Conditions

The position is generally physically comfortable, with occasional periods of stooping, bending, and/or light lifting of materials of up to 10 pounds. arenaflex is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Educational background: Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and mathematical functions as might be acquired through specialized training of up to 9 months of education or training beyond the high school level. Simple vocational competence in the operation of mechanical or electronic equipment is also required.
  • Certification: You may be required to pass a typing test administered by arenaflex with a typing speed of 50 words per minute with no more than 5 errors.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of data entry experience or clerical/secretarial experience with a heavy volume of typing are required.
  • License Requirements: None.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly preferred:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English and Spanish.
  • Working knowledge of quality management and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple, diverse assignments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and other basic email and web software.

Preference shall be given to eligible veteran applicants provided such persons possess the qualifications necessary for competent discharge of the duties involved in the position applied for, such persons are among the most qualified candidates for the position, and all other factors in accordance with arenaflex's policies.
