Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications and services throughout the winter season
- Collaborate with the engineering team to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews, bug fixes, and debugging sessions to improve the platform
- Contribute to the performance, reliability, and scalability of our digital systems
- Help develop new features that enhance user experience for our customers
- Write and run automated tests to ensure high-quality releases
- Support the ongoing development of internal tools and infrastructure
- Stay current with industry best practices, learning opportunities, and emerging technologies
Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Ruby)
- Basic understanding of web development frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js)
- Familiarity with databases and version control (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting
