- As an Instructional Designer for the Purdue University College of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy Practice, you will provide instructional design and educational technology support for faculty, staff, and students. This support includes LMS training and support, managing assessment software, developing instructional materials and eLearning modules, and consulting faculty on instructional design best practices. The designer will work closely with instructors to develop and define learning objectives, create interactive tools to aid learning, and design/redesign content to optimize learning. The designer will also participate in faculty teaching development presentations and curriculum development projects. This is an on-site position. What We Are Looking For: Education and Experience Qualified candidates will need:

  • BA/BS Degree in instructional design, educational technology, or relevant field. 2 years’ experience with instructional technology or information technology to fulfill a variety of instructional needs. In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills needed:
  • Creative, Interpersonal Communication, Active Listening, Problem Solving, Time Management, & Research Ability to use one or more instructional tools (e.g., LMS, ExamSoft, Articulate 360). Knowledge and application of best practices using technology for teaching and learning, including but not limited to, multimedia development, learning management systems, online collaborative tools, and mobile solutions for education. What is helpful:
