The Role
We're seeking an experienced data entry specialist to join our team in Real, VA. As a data entry specialist, you will be responsible for working with our outreach team to support the RFP process, creating and executing pricing structures for planned DHL Same Day clients, and analyzing shipment volume and revenue to determine the effectiveness and profitability of pricing structures. You will also be responsible for assisting with setting overall rates and rules for sales to use in setting rates for individual clients, as well as maintaining and designing tools to support general estimating efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with outreach team to support RFP process
- Create and execute pricing structures for planned DHL Same Day clients
- Analyze shipment volume and revenue to determine effectiveness and profitability of pricing structures
- Assist with setting overall rates and rules for sales to use in setting rates for individual clients
- Maintain and design tools to support general estimating efforts
- Understand aircraft costing tables and ability to challenge or question when necessary
- Collaborate with internal organization teams and procurement to answer custom arrangements in a timely manner
- Develop and implement creative solutions to meet client needs and drive high margins
Essential Qualifications:
* Related experience in transportation/logistics or related field or experience working in an information/financial analysis role supporting pricing proposals and rate structures
- High-level MS Excel skills
- Ability to work closely with all levels of an organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, analytical, focused, and deadline-driven
- Ability to prioritize and manage time well
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and respond to impromptu pricing demands
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in a data entry or pricing role
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics industry
- Experience working with data analysis tools and software
- Certification in data entry or pricing
